Meet Topped Off With A Red Hat

Meet Amanda. A 17 year old blogger who finds inspiration through the amazing fashion photographs on her blog. She also has a feature where she interviews other bloggers and I was lucky enough to be featured on her blog and figured I wanted to know more about her as well. You all should definitely check this goal-oriented girl out! Why goal-oriented you might ask? Well, she wants to open a gallery, cafĂ©, be an event planner, and as if that weren’t enough, have her own fashion line! Read ahead, you know you want to. =]

Introduce yourself. My name is Amanda Archambault. I'm not the average seventeen year old girl. I make excuses to go out and dress up, even if that means a trip to the good CVS. Haha.

Where are you from? I live in a small town in Metro-Atlanta. Even though my home is only a quick 30-40 minutes from the fabulous city, I live in a town of 20,000. We don't have transit. We don't have a club. We don't have a bowling center. We don't have a movie theater. Not even a clothing outlet...or yet...just a clothing store! Basically the town I live in consist of a grocery store, an art gallery, radio shack, the hair salon, nail salon.... and the small stuff that every basic town has ( except for the fun things like... bowling...etc.).

What do you love? I'm a girl that would LOVE to live in a big city, actually have a reason to look cute every day, have breakfast at cafes, and walk on sidewalks... (yep, we don't even have sidewalks out where I live, sad isn't it?). I love classical music. I listen to Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald almost every day while I'm cooking dinner or just picking up around the house. I also love techno. Not the cheesy stuff of course ;). But the underground good artist. I love taking trips to Atlanta. I go there quite frequently. I always love to search out new places tucked away in a corner or alleys that no one else knows about. You know, cool book stores... boutiques...and what not.

What are your hobbies? I'm an acrylic painter. I've been painting for five years and it never gets old. It's a really great hobby when I want to escape the world and have some time to just relax..

What are your goals? I have a lot of dreams in life and I plan to live them all out. I would love to open an art gallery. I have many friends that are artist, so I know if I could open a gallery, I would have much support around me to do so. I also would love to open a cafe. I have a great passion for coffee and would like to have a coffee shop that you can have access to coffee from all over the world. Columbian coffee, Ethiopian coffee etc. and then the usually frappes and espressos that everyone loves! I would also love to be an event planner. I work for a catering company now so I am always at weddings and big events on weekends. Everyone told me that the event planning world was hectic and after a month or so of working them, I would get tired of it and be frustrated. But I still love it and it’s been a while now that I've worked there. I know you're probably thinking "Oh lord, this girl is crazy. She will never be able to own all that. That is too overwhelming". hahah Well just watch me. Because if there's a will, there's a way. And I have a will. But that's not it; last but not least I would love to have my own fashion line. I love to design clothes and "try" to make them. Sometimes it is just a mess but sometimes they come out great! Practice makes perfect so I just need some more time to perfect my ability. I am a really ambitious person and I hope that sometime in my life I will have lived all my dreams.

And there you have it. Now go check this lovely lady out. You'll be sure to find inspiration through her blog posts. =] Thank you Amanda for featuring me and I loved getting to know you as well!
