 2 weeks ago, Brett and I took my mom out for her birthday and we went to Pier 14 in Manhattan to go on a sailboat ride. I must say, the trip around the Hudson was beautiful although it left me a little seasick. I was definitely happy to be back on land when it ended, haha. It was a little chillier these days hence the need for a cardigan, much unlike the 97 degree weather we're currently having. I'm melting! I hope you guys are finding ways to stay cool if need be. Now if you excuse me, I must go stuff my face with ice cream. :)
