I'm Baaaaaack

I'm so sorry for the long hiatus! Between finals time and holidays it was hard to find time to blog or even things to blog about. I figured you guys wouldn't want to see me in the library or in pajamas the entire time (so I thought it'd be best to spare you, haha) but I promise not to take a long hiatus like that ever again so thank you for asking where I was and checking up on the blog from time to time. You guys are awesome. :) On a happy note, I survived my first semester of law school! Woooooo! I also had an amazing time with family around the holidays and now it's time to catch up with friends before starting a new semester all over again in just a week! I'm excited but I'm not looking forward to not having a life again. For now, I'll comfort myself by looking back on happier times like

Fourth of July Weekend

 I know this post is a little delayed, but better late than never right? :) My Fourth of July weekend consisted of walking around Brett's town, lounging around, seeing beautiful views from Brett's dad's boat, and seeing some pretty epic fireworks of course.

Thank goodness it's already Thursday! I'm still reflecting on a better time (read: last weekend, any weekend .... no work days or waking up early .... you catch my drift). I wore this particular outfit while walking around Brett's neighborhood which is absolutely beautiful! I mean, look at all that greeeeeeeeeeen. I literally wanted to frolic in the woods forever. Although, had I tried that, I'd probably end up eaten by a bear or lost so maybe it's a good thing I restrained myself from all that. Making a fool out of myself didn't really matter that much but getting eaten by bears ... now that matters. While I may have no standards when it comes to public humiliation, I do have some good judgment. Yay survival skills!

Valentine's Day Aftermath

Hello there lovelies! I hope your humpday has treated you well. I, unfortunately, caught the flu so while the day has come and gone, I have been confined to my bed for the most part trying to get rid of this cold. I didn't have much energy for an outfit post so I decided to show you guys my V-day aftermath. Remember the post when I mentioned I love keys? Well, my lovely boyfriend got me my own vintage looking key from Tiffany's. :)

I'm obsessed with it and haven't taken it off since. :)

For dinner, we decided to dress up a little since it rarely happens that we're both dressed up. College life will do that to ya though.

NYC: My Original Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope your day is filled with love regardless of whether or not you're single, taken, hate the holiday, etc. My Valentine's Day is filled with a bunch of classes but luckily it's beautiful out and I'm looking forward to going to one of my favorite restaurants in my town with the boyfriend. :) Continuing with the love theme, I've decided to write about the city that originally stole my heart and keeps me in love: NYC. I remember being fascinated with it at a very young age and I still feel like a little girl every time I cross into the city. One thing I had never done was go to the top of the Rockefeller Center to see the city in all its glory. If you remember from my previous post, I mentioned that I was taking Brett there as a birthday present. Care to see the pictures from that day?

Weekend in Pictures

It's quite unusual for me to post two days in a row but I have some catching up to do because of the holidays and getting snowed in. So this is my weekend in pictures.

My family celebrates Christmas Eve while my boyfriend's family celebrates Christmas day so we're lucky enough to celebrate two Christmases. =] I'm already obsessed with all things Christmas so having a double dose of it is heaven to me.

Third Picture - Our umteenth attempt at capturing a girl's shot. This came out sort of decent regardless of Brett's face right smack in the middle of the picture. The other pictures were way worse because the boys kept ruining our pictures and would capture all of us cracking up in the background. My family is predominantly women so we take "Girl's Only" pictures every holiday.

The next day we left to Brett's house where we found out the northeast was going to get hit with 10-13 inches of snow. Figuring the weathermen were lying (because they usually are), we didn't make much of it until we took a look outside the next day and found snow everywhere! His town didn't even get as much as my town did. We got TWO FEET! Now I'm all for snow, but two feet might be a bit excessive. One good thing is that snow makes for a beautiful background.


The first two pictures are the views from my boyfriend's house and the third picture is just so funny. He looks ridiculously silly and a bit like he's scheming something which he probably was. I was later ambushed with snow and I came back into the house soaking wet. His mother even gasped. Haha. All in all, it was an awesome, relaxing weekend. It's weekends like this that make me happy.
